KSA Ag. DG, Brig. Hillary Kipkosgey today, 30 November 2022, hosted Dr. Mae Jemison and Ms. Shadia Sadaqa from the 100 Year Starship (100YSS) based in the US.
Dr. Jemison, a former NASA Astronaut and the first black woman to travel into space and her 100YSS team are organizing NEXUS 2023, a hybrid space gathering designed for people from all walks of life - in Nairobi, Kenya from 31st January to 4th February, 2023 at the Trademark Hotel.
The discussion focused on collaboration between KSA and 100YSS during the event. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Charles Mwangi, Ag. Director, Space Sector and Technology Development and Lt. Col Andrew Nyawade, Ag. Director, Space Regulation, Exploration and Utilization.
