Geovian Tadzi Stower Becomes First African on IAF Space Transportation Committee

We are proud to announce that Geovian Tadzi Stower, a Space Infrastructure & Facility Development Engineer at the Kenya Space Agency (KSA), has been confirmed as a Technical Committee member of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) Space Transportation Committee (STS).

This historic appointment, was confirmed during the IAF Spring Meeting in Paris, France, marks a significant milestone as Mr. Stower becomes the first African to serve on this global committee, which focuses on the activities related to various space transportation missions and systems (launch vehicle systems, propulsion stages – expendable or reusable, manned or unmanned), as well as their safety and support operations.

Mr. Stower's appointment is a testament to the growing prominence of Kenya in the global space arena. As Kenya actively explores space transportation and launch capabilities his presence on the STS Committee will provide invaluable insights, access to global best practices, and networking opportunities with leading space-faring nations and commercial companies.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Mr. Stower on this remarkable achievement and look forward to his contributions to the IAF Space Transportation Committee
