Major General B Waliaula joined the Kenya Defence Forces in 1987 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in April of 1988.
He has attended various military courses and qualified professionally at various levels. He is a holder of a Master in Military Operational Art and Science from Air University, USA, and Master of Science Degree in The Science of National Security Strategy from College of Defence Studies, China.
He has held various positions, notably Commander of an Air Defence Squadron, Base Adjutant, Commanding Officer of Base Admin Wing, Colonel in-charge of Supply and Work Services at Kenya Air Force Headquarters, College Secretary National Defence College, Commander Laikipia Air Base (Fighter Base). He was promoted to the current rank and appointed Director General Defence National Security Industries in July 2022.
