Italian Ambassador Roberto Natali Pays Courtesy Call to Kenya Space Agency

Today, the Italian Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Roberto Natali, paid a courtesy call to the Kenya Space Agency (KSA), where he was received by KSA Board Chair, Maj Gen (Rtd) Amb. Joff Otieno and DG KSA, Brig Hillary Kipkosgey.

The meeting highlighted key milestones in the cooperation between KSA and ASI, particularly the successful implementation of short professional training courses and ongoing efforts to establish an Earth Observation and CubeSat Development Centres.

The centres are expected to drive innovation and research, enhancing the utilization of EO data for decision support and the development of Nanosatellites for sustainable development.

Kenya and Italy share a long-standing history of space cooperation, and this engagement reaffirmed their mutual commitment to leveraging space technology for shared benefits.
