KSA pays Courtesy call to Kenyas Ambassador to Egypt

Cairo, Egypt – A delegation from the Kenya Space Agency (KSA), led by Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Amb. Joff Otieno, Chairperson of the KSA Board, accompanied by Ag Director General Brig. Hillary Kipkosgey, paid a courtesy call to Kenya’s Ambassador to Egypt, Hon. Fred Outa, at the Kenyan Embassy.

The visit follows the signing of the 12 cooperation agreements between Kenya and Egypt in January 2025 aimed at fostering collaboration across various sectors, including space and technology.

During the meeting, the delegation discussed progress on the implementation of the MoU signed between KSA and the Egyptian Space Agency in projects such as AfdevSat (Africa Development Satellite), Climate Camera (ClimCam) and capacity building amongst others.

The discussions also touched on the strategic importance of the African Space Agency and how Kenya can leverage its presence to advance it's position in global space affairs.
