Maj Gen (Rtd) Amb Joff Otieno 

Maj Gen (Rtd) Amb. Joff Otieno holds a BSc Hons in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nairobi. He also attended a Postgraduate course in Aeronautical Engineering from the Royal Air Force College Cranwell 1984/85.
He joined the Kenya Air Force on 1st April 1981 as a Lt. He served in various capacities in instructional, staff and command appointments. He rose through ranks to become Maj Gen on appointment as Commander of the Kenya Air Force in 2011, a position he held till 2014.
He subsequently served as Ambassador to the United Arab Republic of Egypt from 2015 to 2022. In his Ambassadorial duties, he was also accredited to Tunisia, Jordan, Eritrea and Palestine.
He was appointed as Chairman of the Kenya Space Agency Board of Directors by H.E. The President on 29 November 2024 for an initial term of three years.
