Kenya Space Agency Explores Collaboration with UAE-Based Marlan Space


Today, The Kenya Space Agency (KSA) senior management led by Director General Brigadier Hillary Kipkosgey held a high-level meeting with a delegation from Marlan Space, a United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based space company, to explore potential areas of collaboration in advancing Kenya’s space capabilities.

During the meeting, Dr. Hamdullah Mohib, Chief Executive Officer of Marlan Space and head of delegation, was briefed on the Agency’s mandate, priorities, and ongoing activities. Dr. Mohib commended the Agency for its remarkable efforts in positioning KSA as a leading player in the regional space ecosystem.

Marlan Space is an active player in the UAE space industry, with interest in Aerospace space systems development and operations. The discussions concluded with the identification of potential areas of collaboration, including Earth Observation, space systems development and operations, and capacity building.

This engagement marks a significant step toward fostering international partnerships that can accelerate Kenya’s space ambitions and expand opportunities for collaboration between Africa and the Middle East in space science and technology.
