KSA participates at NewSpace Conference 2026

The Kenya Space Agency (KSA) participated in the NewSpace Conference 2026, held in Libreville, Gabon, from April 20–23, 2026, under the theme “Inclusive Growth: Expanding Space Benefits to All Africans”. The conference provided a dynamic platform for space agencies, private sector players, policymakers, and innovators from across Africa to explore the future of the continent’s space ecosystem.

The KSA delegation was led by Technical Director Mr. Charles Mwangi, who delivered a presentation showcasing Kenya’s expanding space programmes and highlighting how the country is positioning itself as a rising hub in Africa’s space sector.

The event served as a key platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and partnership‑building, strengthening ties within Africa’s space community.
