KSA Partners with DeKUT in Tree Planting 



Today, Kenya Space Agency (KSA) Staff joined Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) for a tree-planting exercise on the university grounds, aiming to plant 1,000 trees at the institution.

This initiative supports the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign, which seeks to achieve 30% national forest cover in Kenya by 2032.

Following the planting, KSA team led by Col. Robert Oktoi, Deputy CEO of the Malindi Space Center, paid a courtesy visit to DeKUT's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eng. Peter Muchiri.Both expressed strong commitment towards signing an MoU to formalize and explore opportunities between space technology and academia
